Water Services to perform water valve test in north Quality Hill area Tuesday, September 27, 2011
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department will perform a water valve test on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 7 p.m. to midnight in the north Quality Hill neighborhood, approximately from 5th to 10th streets and from Wyandotte to Washington streets. The test will temporarily shut off consumers’ water service in this area. Notices have been left for the consumers advising them of this temporary loss of service.

City and Port Authority complete riverfront land transfer Friday, September 23, 2011
The City of Kansas City, Mo., and the Kansas City Port Authority are announcing the completion of a land transfer involving property along the riverfront. The transfer, authorized by the City Council, conveys fee simple title to 68 acres of land along the riverfront near the Heart of America and Kit Bond bridges from the City to the Port Authority.

Temporary closures coming for East Coal Mine Road Tuesday, September 20, 2011
