City goes live with “Nixle” community notification service today Monday, June 18, 2012
The City of Kansas City, Mo., will begin using “Nixle,” a community notification service, on Monday, June 18 to improve communication with residents. Nixle provides an efficient and secure way to send neighborhood-level information to residents who subscribe to the system. Through www.nixle.com, the City will send text message and email notifications to subscribers in a specific area, down to the 1/4 mile.
