City recycling drop-off centers closed due to weather Thursday, February 3, 2011
The City of Kansas City, Mo. is advising residents that the City's recycling drop-off centers are closed today due to the extreme cold and accumulated snow in the drop-off centers. It is anticipated that normal operations will resume Friday, Feb. 4.

City continues to dig out after blizzard Wednesday, February 2, 2011
City of Kansas City, Mo., snow removal crews assigned to primary and arterial streets made considerable progress overnight, after snow stopped falling. As of this morning, most primary and arterial routes have tight snowpack and some exposed pavement. With heavy accumulations removed, the snowpack and ice will be salted in an attempt to break up the snowpack.

City delays office hours by two hours Wednesday Tuesday, February 1, 2011
The City of Kansas City, Mo., is notifying residents that in order to allow building maintenance workers adequate time for clearing snow from City facilities and sidewalks, as well as to allow sufficient travel time for City workers, business hours for the public and employees will be delayed by two hours on Wednesday, Feb 2.
