City’s Leaf and Brush Drop-off Centers closed Dec. 26 Tuesday, December 22, 2009
“No tag” collections Dec. 26 through Dec. 31 The City of Kansas City, Mo.’s Public Works Department is alerting residents that the City’s Leaf and Brush Drop-off Centers will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 26. The drop-off centers will reopen Saturday Jan. 2 and will operate from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturdays, through Jan. 16. Residents of Kansas City can use the centers to dispose of Christmas trees.

H1N1 vaccine recall has minor impact on City Tuesday, December 15, 2009
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department will be participating in the voluntary recall of certain doses of pediatric H1N1 vaccine. One vaccine manufacturer, Sanofi Pasteur, has issued a voluntary recall of certain lots of pediatric vaccine, some of which were shipped to Kansas City, Mo. The recall is related to potency and is not safety related.
