City to perform sweep of illegal signs April 17 Thursday, April 5, 2012
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Public Works and Neighborhood and Community Services departments will perform “Sign Sweeps” on Tuesday, April 17. Throughout the day, City staff will perform a sweep of the city to remove illegal signs in the public right-of-way. All signs picked up by the City will be destroyed.

Reminder: City earnings tax deadline is April 17 Thursday, April 5, 2012
City of Kansas City, Mo., taxpayers are reminded that wage earning residents have until Tuesday, April 17 to file their 2011 earnings tax returns and pay any tax due. This deadline also applies to the profit earnings tax for those businesses that are on a calendar year accounting cycle.

City completes $75.265 million special obligation bond issuance Wednesday, March 21, 2012
The City of Kansas City, Mo., successfully issued a total of $75.265 million in special obligation improvement and refunding bonds on Thursday, March 15. The bonds were issued in two series; Series 2012A was issued as tax-exempt in the amount of $15.985 million, and Series 2012B was issued as taxable in the amount of $59.28 million.
