EnergyWorks KC wins awards for marketing campaign
The City of Kansas City, Mo.’s EnergyWorks KC (EWKC) program was awarded two prestigious marketing awards for its current marketing and advertising campaign.
EWKC won a Platinum (First Place) MarCom Award from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals in the category of “Best Integrated Media Campaign.” Nearly 6,000 entries are annually submitted for the MarCom Awards, an international competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
EWKC also won a Bronze Award in the category of “Digital: Best Integrated Print and Web Program, B2C” from the Custom Content Council’s Pearl Awards, an annual competition in which more than 600 entrants worldwide compete. The Custom Content Council is a custom publishing industry that promotes the growth and vitality of the marketing discipline.
The awards were submitted by Ascend Integrated Media in the fall of 2012.
EWKC is an energy efficiency program providing resources to Kansas City, Mo., home and business owners through May 2013. Collaborating with Ascend Integrated Media, EWKC has created a diverse portfolio of collateral to further its message of ease of access to energy efficiency resources. Marketing collateral includes newsletters, direct mailing pieces and magazine advertisements.
