Trash pickup delayed one day, City offices closed Nov. 22-23
In observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday, trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day next week for residents who have a Thursday or Friday collection day. In addition, City of Kansas City, Mo., offices, the 3-1-1 Action Center and the Chouteau Leaf and Brush Drop-off Site will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
Residents who usually have Thursday trash and recycling collection will receive this service Friday, Nov. 23. Residents who usually have Friday collection will receive this service Saturday, Nov. 24.
In addition, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be open Monday, Nov. 19 through Wednesday, Nov. 21 and closed Thursday, Nov. 22 through Monday, Nov. 26 in observance of the holiday.
