City suspends liquor license of Jay’s Bigger Jigger for 30 days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the owner of Jay’s Bigger Jigger, a tavern, have agreed to a 30-day suspension of the tavern’s liquor license. Jay’s Bigger Jigger is located at 3019 E. 12th St.
The first 15 days of the suspension will be served immediately while the remaining 15 will be held in abeyance and not served provided there are no future violations of the same nature of chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Mo., within the next 12 months.
The suspension begins Nov. 1 at 6 a.m. and ends Nov. 16 at 1:30 a.m. This suspension results from the owner not maintaining an orderly place at all times. During the suspension, the business will be closed.
As a condition of the suspension, the owner of Jay’s Bigger Jigger has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to his employees about City ordinances.
For more information about this suspension, call Gary Majors, Manager of Regulated Industries Division, at 816-784-9020.
