311 celebrates 30,000th online service request
Residents encouraged to makes 311 requests online at www.kcmo.org/action
The City of Kansas City, Mo.’s central point of contact for information and service requests – the 311 Call Center – is pleased to announce that it officially received its 30,000th online request on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
The 311 Call Center began accepting online information and service requests on May 1, 2010. In that same time period, the center has received more than one million phone calls. While the call center accepts phone calls on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., residents may conveniently make service requests online at www.kcmo.org/action at any time, any day and without any wait.
To make an online 311 request, visit www.kcmo.org/action and choose “Request a Service.” Residents will be asked to fill out a simple form reporting their concern. Residents may also check the status of their 311 request online at www.kcmo.org/action.
