City leaf and brush drop-off centers extend operations to assist residents
To aid residents affected by the metro area’s recent storms, the City of Kansas City, Mo., Leaf and Brush Drop-Off Centers have extended their days of operations.
The drop-off center located at 1815 N. Chouteau Trafficway will be open today, Friday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The City’s other drop-off center, located just south of I-470 on the east side of Raytown Road, will be open Saturday, Aug. 20 through Sunday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed today, Friday, Aug. 19.
After Sunday, Aug. 28, the centers will return to regular hours, open only Saturdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents of Kansas City, Mo., can bring leaves, yard waste and brush to either location.
