Residents advised about wastewater overflow in Little Blue River Watershed
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department reports a wastewater overflow due to a grease blockage in the sewer line in a wooded area near 5612 Norfleet Rd. on Thursday, July 19th at 3:45 p.m.
The sewer overflowed at a rate of 2 gallons per minute for a total. The sewage did not reach the state's waters. The sewage was contained in a private detention pond on the property. The overflow ended at 5:55 p.m.
