James Street Bridge open house scheduled for July 17
The City of Kansas City, Mo., invites the public to view draft conceptual layouts for potential improvements to the James Street Bridge at an open house on Tuesday, July 17 at 4 p.m. at the Livestock Exchange, 1600 Genessee St., Suite 232.
The James Street Bridge spans the Union Pacific Railroad yard as it crosses the Missouri-Kansas border. It will be rehabilitated following an evaluation of its structural integrity. The bridge will close during construction.
The public will have an opportunity to speak with City staff and design consultants about the potential improvements and provide input as the final recommendations are developed.
