Discount Liquor & Tobacco #1 liquor license suspended for two days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the managing officer of Discount Liquor & Tobacco #1, a convenience store, have agreed to a two-day suspension of the establishment’s liquor license. Discount Liquor & Tobacco #1 is located at 1901 N.E. Russell Road.
The suspension will begin July 13 at 6 a.m. and end July 15 at 1:30 a.m. The suspension is the result of violations of multiple City ordinances, including employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors. During the suspension the business will be closed.
As a condition of the suspension, the managing officer of Discount Liquor & Tobacco #1 has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to their employees about City ordinances.
