Residents advised about wastewater overflow in Blue River Watershed
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department reports a wastewater overflow due to grease in the sewer line in the parking lot at 5305 Bannister Road on Monday, June 4 at 5:31 p.m.
Sewage was surfacing from the ground at the rate of less than 1 gallon per minute. The sewage did not reach the state's waters. The sewage was absorbed into the ground. The overflow ended at 6 p.m.
