Meetings scheduled for liquor code feedback
Proposed revision of the liquor code has prompted three public meetings to gather information regarding the issue.
A notice was sent to Alcoholic Beverage Committee members encouraging participation in this discussion.
These meetings, organized by the Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department, will include representatives of the industry, neighborhood groups, City staff and elected officials, as well as testimony from citywide interested parties.
“The meetings are scheduled to gather information in an effort to streamline our processes and bring to the forefront issues that need to be discussed by the community, industry, and City officials for clearer and more efficient regulating,” said Judy Hadley, Director of the Regulated Industries Division.
The meetings are scheduled as follows: June 10, at 7 p.m., in the office of Northland Neighborhoods, Inc., 5312 N.E. Chouteau Trafficway; June 23, at 7 p.m., at the Linwood Multi-purpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave.; and July 10, at 7 p.m., at the Hillcrest Community Center, 10401 Hillcrest Road.
