City’s EOC activates to monitor storm and damage
The City’s Emergency Operations Center activated at Level II at 4:45 p.m. to monitor damage resulting from today’s storms. Representatives from the City Manager’s Office, Public Works Department, Police Department, Fire Department, and Parks and Recreation Department are prepared to respond to the storm as needed. City officials are assessing damage at this time.
Street crews are responding to clear debris. Dangerous building and building inspectors have been deployed to assess the situation.
The command posts have been established in the Northland. The Fire Department is staging a rescue operations center in the Northland as well.
