Action Center extends hours for citizen convenience
In a continuing effort to improve service delivery for citizens, the City’s Action Center is extending its hours on Saturdays. Beginning Feb. 11, the Action Center will be available for telephone, fax and e-mail assistance Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
In October 2005, the Action Center expanded its hours to include Saturdays, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Monday through Friday hours will continue to be from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. until March 1, when they will be extended to 7 p.m.
Walk-in service is provided Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Action Center, a division of the City Manager’s Office, provides information about City services and helps resolve situations with those services. When making service requests, citizens should provide the following information:
The exact address or location, or as much information as possible to help staff identify the exact address
Length of time the current situation or condition has existed
As many details about the situation or condition as possible.
