The Development Assistance Team is comprised of representatives from all city departments involved in the development process. Its purpose is to provide assistance to persons who are preparing to submit a development project and need preliminary information about meeting current city standards and requirements.
The Development Assistance Team meets every Thursday at 10 a.m. in the 15th Floor Conference Room of City Hall. In order for staff to better prepare for a specific project, fill out as much information before meeting with staff using the Preliminary Project Information Sheet
. Return the form, along with 15 copies of the site plan, at least seven days in advance of your scheduled meeting. Call prior to submitting to ensure the exact date and time for the meeting.
Because the Development Assistance Team is not a formal review body and was designed to provide individuals with input about the City’s requirements in advance of formal submittal to the review process, the information given should be considered as preliminary. If the project requirements change prior to formal submittal, staff comments may change accordingly. As submittals are formally reviewed in greater detail, staff may also have additional comments not previously mentioned. Notwithstanding these instances, the Development Assistance Team will strive to furnish straightforward information to assist in the review process.
