Pfannenstiel appointed as Municipal Court administrator Monday, March 25, 2013
City of Kansas City, Mo., City Manager Troy Schulte has announced that Megan Fuller Pfannenstiel has been appointed as the administrator of the Municipal Court. Pfannenstiel most recently served as the first assistant city prosecutor in the Kansas City, Mo., Prosecutor's Office, where she has been employed since 2004. She was selected after a national search that yielded a diverse field of highly qualified candidates.

Kansas City metro named to EPA’s list of cities with most ENERGY STAR-certified buildings Monday, March 25, 2013
For the first year ever, the City of Kansas City, Mo., metropolitan area has been named to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s list of cities with the most ENERGY STAR®-certified buildings. As of last year, Greater Kansas City had 82 ENERGY STAR-certified buildings totaling more than 20 million square feet of floor space and saving $14 million per year on utility bills.

Snow Ordinance suspended following winter storm Monday, March 25, 2013
The City of Kansas City, Mo., is notifying motorists that phases I and II of the Snow Ordinance have been suspended. Motorists legally parked on assigned Emergency Snow Routes will not be ticketed or towed. In addition, the City’s 311 Call Center will now accept requests for slick spots and missed streets.
