KCI Airport flu shot clinic Nov. 10 protects travelers Tuesday, November 4, 2008
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department and Kansas City International Airport are partnering to provide a special flu shot clinic to protect travelers on Monday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flu vaccines will be available for those age 3 years and older for $10 per shot in all three terminals. Cash or credit cards will be accepted.

City to receive $40 million in federal new markets tax credits Tuesday, October 28, 2008
The City of Kansas City, Mo., has been awarded $40 million in new markets tax credits under the sixth round of the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund’s New Markets Tax Credit Program. The award marks the first time the City has applied independently to receive funds under this program. The City, in partnership with Central Bank of Kansas City, received $50 million in new markets tax credits last year.
