City suspends liquor license of Everyday 840 for 30 days

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department and Everyday 840, a convenience store, have agreed to a 30-day suspension of store’s liquor license. Everyday 840 is located at 840 N. Montgall Ave.

The suspension began Tuesday, July 9 at 6 a.m. and will end Friday, Aug. 9 at 6 a.m. The suspension is the result of synthetic drugs being sold on the premise. During the suspension, the business will remain open but alcoholic beverages will not be sold.

As a condition of the suspension, the managing officer of Everyday 840 has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to the store’s employees about City ordinances.
